Study finds no enhanced cognitive risk from playing high school football

The prevalence of Chronic Traumatic Encephelopathy in former NFL players has sparked concern that current and former football players at all levels are facing increased risk of cognitive problems later in life. A recent study from JAMA Neurology suggests that there is no enhanced risk for former high-school football players. read more……

The CIF San Diego Section decision to move it’s headquarters from the Balboa Park Hall of Champions to Mission Valley means Westview will have to find another Banquet location.  read more

 

 

San Diego Section approves Transfer Rule 

The CIF’s San Diego Section Board of Managers on Wednesday approved a measure that removes from bylaws the phrase “athletically motivated transfer” as a condition resulting in ineligibility.  Read more
